CamperOwl uses its own content, user submissions, open-data sources, map and media services as well as open-source software. Specific image credits are also shown directly below the respective medium.
Place and base data
Some location, contact, opening-hours and amenity information may originate from OpenStreetMap.

Maps & routing
Map and routing views are integrated through Mapbox. The relevant map attribution is shown directly within the map.
Where map data is based on OpenStreetMap, the OpenStreetMap contributor attribution also applies.
Images & media
Wikimedia Commons
Freely licensed media from Wikimedia Commons is displayed together with author, source and licence information directly on the image. The information on the relevant Commons file page is decisive.
Mapillary
Street-view images from Mapillary are displayed together with source and licence information directly on the image.
Own uploads
Own or directly uploaded images are displayed without external attribution unless separate rights notes have been stored for them.
Open-source software
The product uses open-source software, including Next.js, React, Radix UI, Lucide, Leaflet and other libraries from the JavaScript ecosystem.
